Welcome to PicBattle! This document outlines our Privacy Policy and Child Safety Standards. PicBattle ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting user privacy and maintaining a safe environment for all users, especially children and minors.

By downloading, accessing, or using PicBattle, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

To provide, maintain, and optimize our services, PicBattle collects the following categories of information:

A. Personal & Identity Information:

- Google Sign-In & Authentication: Name, email address, profile photo URL, and unique user identifier (UID) provided during login via Firebase Authentication.

- Profile Information: Optional profile data including phone number, country, state, city, and bio.

B. User-Generated Content (UGC):

- Photos uploaded by users to participate in photo battles, saved securely via Cloudinary and Firebase Storage.

C. Gameplay & Financial Data:

- Battle records, votes, points, referral activity, and in-app wallet transaction details for contest rewards and payouts.

D. Device & Log Information:

- IP address, device model, operating system version, app diagnostics, crash logs, and network connection status.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

- Account Creation & Authentication: To register, authenticate, and manage your user account.

- Photo Battles & Leaderboards: To display user photos in public photo battles, calculate vote scores, and publish rankings.

- Platform Security & Safety: To monitor content, detect fraud, enforce Terms of Service, and prevent Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).

- Notifications & Support: To send push notifications for battle updates, squad requests, and respond to user inquiries.

4. SPECIAL SECTION: Child Safety Standards & CSAE/CSAM Prevention Policy

PicBattle enforces a ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY regarding Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).

A. Zero Tolerance & Strict Prohibition:

PicBattle strictly prohibits the creation, upload, sharing, transmission, or storage of any content that depicts, depicts, promotes, or facilitates child sexual exploitation or abuse. Any attempt to upload such content will result in immediate permanent account termination, IP ban, and reporting to law enforcement authorities.

B. Content Moderation & Detection:

- We deploy automated media scanning tools alongside human moderation teams to identify, block, and purge inappropriate or sexually explicit images before or immediately after they are displayed in battles.

- Moderation systems actively flag suspicious media uploads, user-generated images, and text communications.

C. In-App Reporting Mechanism:

PicBattle provides built-in, accessible in-app reporting affordances across all screens, user profiles, and battle views. Users can report any photo, profile, or message that violates safety policies. Reported content is immediately hidden pending expedited human review.

D. Mandatory Reporting to Authorities:

In compliance with international and regional child safety laws (including US Federal Law 18 U.S.C. § 2258A), PicBattle immediately reports any instances of CSAM/CSAE discovered on our platform to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate local and federal law enforcement agencies.

If you discover any content or user behavior that poses a child safety concern, or if you represent a law enforcement agency investigating child exploitation, please contact our designated safety point of contact immediately:

5. Third-Party Services

PicBattle integrates trusted third-party SDKs to provide backend services, ads, and analytics. These providers may collect information governed by their respective privacy policies:

- Google Play Services

- Firebase Authentication, Firestore & Crashlytics

- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

- Fyber Marketplace SDK

- Cloudinary Image Management

6. Data Security

We implement robust administrative, technical, and physical security measures—including Firestore Security Rules, HTTPS encryption in transit, and restricted database access—to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion Rights

We retain user data for as long as the account remains active. Users have the complete right to request deletion of their account and all associated personal data (including uploaded photos, battle history, and wallet records).

To request data deletion:

- Use the in-app "Delete Account" option in Settings, OR

- Send an email to jammuway26ss@gmail.com with your registered email address and user ID. Upon request, all user data will be permanently purged from active databases within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy (Under 13 Notice)

PicBattle is intended for general audiences aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy and Child Safety Standards periodically. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of PicBattle after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
